São Paulo – On occasion of the 45th United Arab Emirates National Day, which was last Friday (2), the Brazilian office of Dubai Exports will host the event “Opportunities in the Importation of Goods and Services from Dubai,” next Thursday (8) in São Paulo.
The event is backed by the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce and by the São Paulo Chamber of Commerce, an arm of the São Paulo Trade Board. It will feature presentations of opportunities in the sale and purchase of goods and services between Brazil and the United Arab Emirates.
According to data from the Brazilian Ministry of Industry, Trade and Services, exports from Brazil to the UAE amounted to USD 1.7 billion from January to October, with imports at USD 309.1 million.
Dubai Exports said the focus is on imports, and items on display will include cosmetics, food, furniture, medical products, stainless steel and services in general. The agency will also expound on the advantages that re-exporting goods via the emirate entail.
Registration is free (see information below). Approximately 30 to 40 business executives are expected to be at the Arab Chamber auditorium, including distributors, importers and trade agents.
