São Paulo – The World Police Summit Awards s accepting nominations until March 31. The awards, which recognize institutions working in security, will be held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Two new categories have been introduced this year: Best Use of Artificial Intelligence in Policing and the Innovation Award for Startups.
In addition to these, achievements are celebrated in categories such as Excellence in Criminal Investigation, Excellence in Anti-Narcotics, People of Determination Excellence, Best Police Application, Best Innovative Idea in Security & Law Enforcement, Excellence in Road Safety, Excellence in Forensic Science, and Inspiring Female Police Officer Award, among others, totaling 12 categories.
According to information from the award organization published by the Emirati state news agency WAM, Brazil was one of the countries awarded last year, alongside Pakistan, Italy, the UAE, Spain, and others. The award ceremony will take place on May 15, the final day of the World Police Summit, an annual event held in Dubai that brings together companies, experts, and government representatives working in security and law enforcement.
