São Paulo – From February 17 to 21, 2018, the 4th Conference Women for Success will discuss the role of women in the business world in the cities of Cairo and Luxor, Egypt. The event is organized by NGO Business Women of Egypt 21, which promotes entrepreneurship among women and unity between businesswomen.
“It’s time to encourage tourism and business in Egypt. We want to gather different cultures in the conference and help people to communicate within different work areas,” said Youmna El Sheridy, the NGO’s president.
She says that the conference will discuss a variety of topics such as challenges and opportunities to women owners of small and medium-sized business, women in leadership roles, women in foreign trade and industry and technology trends.
Delegations from over 25 countries already confirmed their presence. Among the participants are women from the Gulf countries, Germany, Canada, France, South Africa and Cyprus, among other places.
El Sheridy encourages Brazilian women to attend. “I visited Brazil a couple of months ago and there are many similarities for cooperation in business by women,” says the entrepreneur. According to her, the vibrant social and familiar life and the more relaxed way of life compared to European countries are common ground between Brazilian and Egyptian societies.
The businesswoman came to the country in March, when she visited the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce representing the company Special Foods Industry, from which she’s managing director.
Participation in the event is open to women that are business owners, consultants, teachers or from any other sector in the economic field.
