São Paulo – Egypt’s trade office in São Paulo is in search of four Brazilian leather imports to go visit the fair Cairo Interleather, scheduled to March 2 to 5 in the Arab country’s capital. The selection is being conducted in a partnership with the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce.
Cairo Interleather is Egypt’s only fair specialized in the leather sector and its technologies. It gathers exhibitors of exotic leather, belts, purses, wallets, bags, footwear, footwear machinery and leather apparel, among others.
“They have high-quality leather. They are very strong in the production of goat, lamb and camel leather,” says Michel Alaby, CEO of the Arab Chamber, pointing out that Egyptians produce high-value leather items.
The importers interested in visiting the event can contact the Arab Chamber until February 3. Buyers selected will travel with lodging and air ticket expenses covered by the fair’s organizers.
This is the event’s 11th edition. According to its website, the exhibition will gathers more than 250 exhibitors and should welcome over 20,000 visitors from near 70 countries.
