São Paulo – The embassy of Palestine in Brasília named one room “Arab Chamber” in honor of the work of the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce. The room is inside the embassy and hosts meetings of up to 20 people.
“The partnership of both the embassy of Palestine and the Council of Arab Ambassadors with the Arab Chamber is historic, worthy of recognition,” ambassador of Palestine and dean of the Council of Arab Ambassadors, Ibrahim Alzeben, told ANBA.
Alzeben said that the Arab Chamber plays a major role as a bridge between the Arab world and Brazil since its foundation until now. “It’s a well-deserved tribute,” he told ANBA.
The embassy of Palestine started its activities and was established at its current headquarters on February 2, 2016 during a ceremony attended by diplomats, the Arab community, and authorities. The building is in the North Embassy Sector in Brasília.
