São Paulo – Embraer, the Brazilian aircraft manufacturer, delivered today (21) the 100th aeroplane of the Embraer 170/190 family. The jet, an Embraer 175 for 73 passengers, was bought by Air Canada. The Canadian airline already operates nine aircraft of the same model, of a total of 15 orders.
The first aeroplane of the family, an Embraer 170, was delivered to Lot Polish Airlines in March last year. Currently the Brazilian company has 427 firm orders for the four models in the series, which have the capacity for carrying between 70 and 110 passengers.
