São Paulo – Travellers who buy tickets to Dubai from Emirates Airlines will be able to apply for the visa to enter the country at the company’s website.
The service is available for 30-day and 96-hour visas, and may be used by customers from 35 countries, including Brazil, on business or leisure trips.
In order to get the visa through the site, tourists must meet the criteria set by the Dubai Naturalization and Residency Department (www.dnrd.gov.ae).
The 96-hour visa costs US$ 44 and the 30-day one, US$ 57. The visas will be delivered by e-mail approximately four working days after application, and passengers will be able to monitor the status of their request on Emirates’ Website.
An important advantage for groups and families is that the system accepts up to nine applications combined, as long as they are booked on the same flight. The service can be used by passengers who purchase their tickets at the site, at an Emirates office, or from a travel agent.
To apply for the visa, go to the Manage Your Booking section at www.emirates.com and follow the procedure described. Passengers may choose to apply for the visa upon purchasing the ticket or after they have scheduled their trips.
