São Paulo – The Emirati state-owned telecommunication company recorded net earnings worthy AED 2.2 billion (USD 599 million) on the first quarter this year and increased its subscriber base by 2% to 143 million, according to news published in Gulf News. This was a 5% year-on-year increase on net profits.
The group revenue reached AED 13 billion (USD 3.5 billion) on the first quarter this year. EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) stood at AED 6.6 billion (USD 1.8 billion) on the period.
