São Paulo – This evening (05) marks the opening and release of book “Cumplicidade – 20 anos de reportagem, 20 fotógrafos – Olhares para o Brasil e brasileiros” (Cumplicity – 20 years of news coverage, 20 photographers – Outlooks for Brazil and Brazilians), by journalist Bernardino Furtado.
The project, which also includes a blog, brings together works of photographers who worked alongside the professional over 20 years of his career as a reporter, among them Sérgio Tomisaki, a photojournalist who works as a freelance photographer for Agência Meios, which is responsible for the editorial coordination of ANBA.
Tomisaki was born in São Paulo, in Cafelândia, and started his career as a photographer in 1972. He has already worked for publications like O Estado de S. Paulo, IstoÉ, Veja, Folha de S. Paulo and O Globo. His photographs may currently be seen on ANBA and on other press vehicles.
The release should take place tonight, at 7:00 pm, at Conjunto Nacional, in São Paulo. Admittance is free and the exhibition may be visited up to April 21st.
