Brasília – Tax collection and federal contributions totaled BRL 104.1 billion (USD 33.34 billion) in June, up 3% over the same period of 2016.
From January to June of this year, the total collected was of BRL 648.584 billion (USD 207.74 billion), a real growth of 0.77% in comparison to the same period of last year.
The data was made available this Tuesday (19) in Brasília by the Brazilian Federal Revenue Office. According to the office, the data is inflation-adjusted, as measured by the Extended National Consumer Price Index (IPCA), so it represents real growth.
