Global exports reached US$ 12 trillion in 2006
There was an increase of nearly 15% in the international trade of commodities compared with 2005, according to data disclosed on Friday (13) by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development. Foreign sales by developing countries stood at US$ 4.4 trillion in 2006, or 17.5% more than in the year before. Brazilian exports of goods and services grew above the global average.
