São Paulo – Many marble and granite companies showed their interest in the market of Arab countries after a lecture on business opportunities in the region held by the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce during the international dimension stone trade expo Cachoeiro Stone Fair, which ends this Friday (31) in Cachoeiro do Itapemirim, Espírito Santo.
Representatives of ten companies from the sector watched the lecture given by Marcus Vinicius, the Information Management coordinator of the Arab Chamber, this Wednesday (29). He talked about business opportunities in the Arab countries in the next few years. Among the companies that sent staff to the lecture were Comil, Top Mármores, Super Clássico, Stone Vip, Ferrari Granitos, Bramagran, Mineral Brasil, Sulcamar and Internacionale.
The Arab Chamber’s Sales executive Roberta Urra told ANBA that she’s talking and meeting and sharing necessary information to the companies interested in both selling to the Arab market and becoming a member of the Arab Chamber.
“Super Clássico Granitos, for instance, is one of the sector’s largest exporting companies and even supplied a Brazilian schist called Matrix to the construction of the Burj Khalifa (the tallest structure in the world), in Dubai. It exports large quantities of this stone, which offers a metallic and grayish effect, to large construction works throughout the world,” said Urra.
“And the mayor of Cachoeiro de Itapemirim, Victor da Silva Coelho, also showed to be very interested in organizing a mission to the Arab countries with the city’s companies,” concluded the executive.
