São Paulo – The Brazilian ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Fernando Igreja, met on Friday (25) with a delegation of thirteen Brazilian businesspeople from different segments led by Patrícia Brazil and Nivea Heluey under the Nexum initiative aimed at fostering business between Brazil and the UAE. The meeting also featured the embassy’s deputy chief Leandro Vieira Silva. The group was welcomed by the head of the international office of the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) in Dubai, Rafael Solimeo, at the entity’s headquarters in the emirate. Ambassador Igreja and Leandro Vieira gave the businesspeople some advices and insights on how to look for new business opportunities in the region.
The Dubai-based Nexum also operates in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah via strategic partnerships. “Our greatest goal is to build the right connections,” Patrícia Brazil, head of New Business for Brazil and Latin America at Nexum, was quoted as saying in a statement.
“We combine an expertise covering the entire expansion and internationalization journey of companies, products and services from Brazil to the UAE,” added Nivea Heluey, head of Communications & Strategy at Nexum.
