São Paulo – The Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo (Fiesp) promotes this Tuesday (27th) in the city of São Paulo a business round between companies already exporting and those interested in doing it and chambers of commerce from throughout Brazil. The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce will be one of 16 attending. The goal is to help Brazilian companies to export.
The meeting will take place in the afternoon, at Fiesp’s headquarters, as an initiative of the International Relations Committee (CRI, in the Portuguese acronym) and the Committee of Young Entrepreneurs (CJE, in the Portuguese acronym), both members of the federation. The attending exporting companies were invited by Fiesp and by the chambers of commerce, according to information provided by Bruno Quartieri, a voluntary member of CRI and CJE. According to him, the companies that haven’t registered and are interested in attending can come to the event.
Each chamber of commerce will have its space in the event and will speak for around 20 minutes with each business person scheduled by the organization. Accoring to Quartieri, it will be an opportunity for the companies to advertise their services. The chambers of commerce will be able to talk to the business persons about the market possibilities in each country, if the products will be on demand or not and opportunities in that specific area of the world.
According to Quartieri, the majority of the companies attending are of small size. But there will be those of medium size, trading companies, and also a possibility of contacts with importers, although this is not the focus of the event. The goal is for the event to be also an opportunity for networking between the companies attending.
This is the second time that Fiesp organizes an event of this type, business rounds focused on exporters and chambers of commerce. The first one was held in 2013. Next year, a meeting focused of chambers of commerce should be organized.
