São Paulo – Powdered beverage manufacturing company Casadoce has developed two special export lines. Powdered juices Ice Ade and Golly, the latter being the company’s flagship brand, are already successful in Canada, Central America, Japan, Africa, and the United States, which also consume the company’s chocolate powder line. Middle Eastern and North African countries are among Casadoce’s targets.
“The Arab market has a strong demand for our product line, which in turn is fully adapted to that market,” said the company’s export manager, Eduardo Casarin. According to him, contact has been made with importers from Palestine, Lebanon, Morocco, Libya and Tunisia.
Casadoce began exporting in 2005 to African countries and the United States. Foreign sales are either made directly or via distributors. One of the company’s strategies for conquering new clients abroad is to participate in large international trade shows for the industry, such as Sial, in France, Anuga and ISM, in Germany, and Fancy Food, in the United States.
According to Casarin, in addition to supplying several international clients with items that are then sold under their own brands, the company also makes its own brands: Golly, Rizzo and Frutim (juices), Promix (juices and jellies), Golly Power (isotonic), Milkin and Social (chocolate powder).
Casadoce was founded in 1996 and is part of Grupo Cerradinho Açúcar, Álcool e Energia, a group that operates in the sugar, alcohol and energy sectors. The company owns a manufacturing plant and a sugar processing plant in Catanduva, in the interior of the state of São Paulo. It has 100% national capital and 250 direct employees. Casadoce is present in all of the Brazilian states.
