Jundiaí mayor Luiz Fernando Machado will launch the event. Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce secretary-general Tamer Mansour (pictured) will discuss business opportunities in Arab countries starting 9:50 am. At 10:50 am, Lebanon’s consul-general to SP, Rudy El Azzi, will discuss opportunities in Lebanon.
“Our taking part in this event in Jundiaí is very important, because it is a demonstration of the relevance of Arab-Brazilian trade relations. Brazil’s partnership with the Middle East is growing stronger by the day, and the Arab Chamber must be present to give explanations and connect Arab buyers with Brazilian exporters. Our presence is crucial to provide clarifications and open the door into this world chock-full of opportunities to Brazilian exporters,” said Mansour.
Created to highlight the relevance of Arab markets to Brazil, the business opportunities they have to offer, and their relevance to international trade, Arab Nation Day relies on support from the Center of Industries of the State of São Paulo (Ciesp), the Brazilian Micro and Small Business Support Service (Sebrae), the Jundiaí Commerce and Business Association (ACE) and the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce. The Brazilian Institute for the Development of International Business Relations (Ibrei) is a partner for the event.
