São Paulo – Syrian singer Ali Deek is going to perform at the Syrian Sports Club next Saturday (27th). The concert will also feature appearances by Tony Mouzayek and the “1001 Noites” (1001 Nights) folk dance group, plus an Arab dinner for those in attendance.
An extremely popular singer in Syria, Deek is known as the “king of dabke,” an Arab folk dance. In addition to performing on Saturday, he is also going to play concerts in two cities in the state of Paraná. The first one will be in Foz do Iguaçu (April 1st) and the second one in Curitiba (April 3rd).
The event in São Paulo will start at 9:00 pm and tickets, which start at 250 Brazilian reals (US$ 140), may be purchased up until Thursday.
