A delegation from the Unaizah Chamber of Commerce and Industry carried out a series of appointments in the state of São Paulo earlier this week. In a meeting at the Arab-Brazilian Chamber headquarters on Thursday, leaders discussed mutual support for the export of Saudi dates to Brazil and the sale of Brazilian products to Saudi Arabia.

The food and beverage trade fair featured exhibitors from at least six Arab countries, some of them in pavilions organized by the Arab-Brazilian Chamber. Beni Piatetzky, general director of Koelnmesse Brazil, believes there is room to increase the region’s participation.

In a lecture given on Wednesday (9) at the Anuga Select Brazil fair in São Paulo, International Halal Academy professor Alessandra Frisso presented the profile of Islam followers in terms of consumption and highlighted how they are strongly integrated into the digital world.
