São Paulo – The American Lebanese University (LAU) is offering scholarships and financial aid for international students. Foreigner students may apply for the admission process to start studying in 2020, and the admission and scholarship application deadline is January 30, 2020.
LAU has two campuses in Lebanon (pictured above), one in Beirut and another in Byblos, and is known as a top university in Lebanon and the MENA region. The scholarships are for students that look for an opportunity to acquire multi-disciplinary education at an affordable cost, and is applicable to any major undergraduate level, including Medicine, Nursing, Communication, Social Sciences, Business, Pharmacy, Engineering, Architecture, Arts and Design, and others.
The student must submit the admission application along with the scholarship application. You can find out more about the courses, the selective process, and the housing application. The scholarships are awarded to a number of high school students covering 100% of the recipient’s tuition and aiming to encourage and promote academic excellence.
To be eligible for a LAU international scholarship, the student must be a non-Lebanese national, be a graduate of a school outside Lebanon, have achieved an excellent academic performance and obtained high SAT scores, demonstrate extra-curricular involvement and leadership skills
At the Lebanese university, USD 32 million are allocated for scholarships and financial aid. LAU has one center in New York besides the two campuses in Lebanon. Out of its 8,500 students, 78 nationalities are represented.
