Libya wants to invest over US$ 17 million in construction of an agro-industrial complex in Tocantins
The partnership between the Libyan government and the Pedro Afonso Agricultural Cooperative (Coapa) is being negotiated by the state government and by the embassy of the Arab country in Brazil, and should be completed by the end of next year. The industry, to produce ground soy, soy oil, and fertilizers, should occupy an area of 300,000 square metres and employ 2,500 people.
