São Paulo – The Libyan businessmen who visited the stand of the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce at the Tripoli International Fair, in Libya, showed keen interest in establishing partnership with Brazilian companies in the civil construction industry.
“In the last few days we were visited by many local businessmen. One of them wants to hire Brazilian companies willing to invest in construction of ports,” said Filipe Ferraz, Marketing analyst of the Arab Brazilian Chamber. “We also received a Libyan businessman who claimed to be seeking new Brazilian companies that might become partners in the development of civil construction projects,” he added.
The premises were also visited by an Algerian businessman seeking electric material. As of last Thursday (9th), the stand had already been contacted by around 75 importers interested in the Brazilian products. “Upon returning to Brazil, we are going to check the information supplied by the businessmen, and then intermediate contacts with Brazilian companies that fit the profile,” he asserted.
The premises assembled by the Arab Brazilian Chamber at the fair feature products and promotional material from companies in the food, footwear, textile, and medical-hospital sectors. The products manufactured by companies Oderich and Vapza are being represented by trading company Latinex. Also on display is footwear by Grendene, a manufacturer that produces over 500,000 pairs a day and already exports to nine Arab countries, as well as promotional material for Perdigão, one of the leading food companies in Brazil, which exports to more than 80 countries.
The Tripoli International Fair started on April 2nd and should continue until next Sunday (12th). The event is multisectoral and is currently in its 38th edition.
