Lula asks emerging markets to act for the environment
Brazilian president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva called yesterday (25), at the 62nd General Assembly of the United Nations, in New York, for developing countries to promote joint actions against global warming. Lula mentioned biofuels as a new energy option and said that they may also generate income in regions of the world like Latin America, Asia and Africa.
