Brasília – Brazil’s Finance minister, Guido Mantega, will give presentations to businessmen in São Paulo, New York and London, covering the macroeconomic scenario and investment opportunities in the country. The lectures will take place on February 5th in São Paulo, February 26th in New York, and March 1st in London. The Chief of Staff, Gleisi Hoffmann, will attend the event in São Paulo.
Apart from Mantega, technical presentations will be given by the president of the Brazilian Logistics Planning Company (EPL), Bernardo Figueiredo, the oil and gas secretary of the Ministry of Mines and Energy, Marco Antônio Martins Almeida, and the president of the Energy Research Company, Maurício Tolmasquim.
The goal is to foster investment, especially in infrastructure. In addition to presenting opportunities, the presentations will serve to clarify doubts concerning projects, auctions, and how interested businessmen should proceed.
