São Paulo – The Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade made available an information system for investment activities in Brazil, for the business class, research enterprises, and international agencies. The National Information Network was initiated during the 11th United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (Unctad).
The network is in an internet data bank, with detailed information on investments, by state and economic segment. The network also shows how and where to invest, fiscal incentives, funding and trade opportunities.
The encouragement of national investment and attraction of foreign investment are among the goals of the new industrial, technological and foreign trade policy, announced by the federal government in March.
