São Paulo – Auto parts traded by the Brazilian Incavel, headquartered in Curitiba, Paraná, reached the Middle East in early 2000. Most of the shipments take place through the Emirates. According to the international market analyst, Fabiana da Matta, sales are though local distributors and reexporters to the remaining countries in the region.
“Despite sales to the Middle East still being small, it is a market with great potential in the auto parts sector. We hope to grow much there in coming years," said Fabiana. According to her, Incavel is also interested in exporting to the countries of North Africa. "We do not yet have contacts there, but we know that there are many opportunities, especially in Egypt," he said.
Incavel has been trading auto parts for over 30 years and, according to Fabiana, is among the leaders in the sector of replacement parts for buses. Currently, the company has shops in Paraná, Santa Catarina, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, São Paulo, Pará and Rondônia. Among the products sold, special attention goes to headlights for buses, injected seats, a full line of tail lights, locks, valves for doors and buzzers.
“To supply our clients better, [at the headquarters] we have 140 collaborators and office space of over 7,000 square metres, representing some of the most important brands of body parts in Brazil," he pointed out. “Apart from that, we have for our clients a dynamic structure, including specialized professionals who are ready to offer personalized services, information and solutions in the purchase and replacement of parts and accessories for buses," finished off the analyst.
Incavel exports began in 1995, to the countries of Latin America, which continue being the main market for the company on the foreign market. One of the strategies to guarantee clients abroad is participation in fairs like Automec, a fair in São Paulo. The edition this year brought together 480 national and international exhibitor and received 28,500 people, among them businessmen and buyers from Brazil and abroad.
