São Paulo – The Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade is promoting today (04th), in the southeastern Brazilian city of São Paulo, the National Foreign Trade Meeting (Encomex). The event, organised in partnership with other public and private organisations, takes place at the head office of the Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo (Fiesp) and is aimed at showing the path to exports to micro and small businessmen.
This will be the 120th edition, which marks the 10th anniversary of the creation of the meetings. Participants will include representatives of public and private organisations, such as the Foreign Trade secretary of the federal government, Armando Meziat, and the president of Fiesp, Paulo Skaf. Issues to be discussed at the panels include the current situation of the international market, commercial promotion, the Mercosur, international negotiations, exchange rates, among others.
In the afternoon, the secretary general at the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, Michel Alaby, will give a lecture on how to export to the Arab countries. Public organisations will clarify doubts, foreign trade support services will be on display, and there will be a showroom of products from the state of São Paulo.
