São Paulo – Figures issued this Thursday (2nd) by the National Oil, Natural Gas and Biofuels Agency (ANP) show that Brazilian natural gas production reached an all-time high in July.
Production reached 72 million cubic metres per day, exceeding the 71. 4 million cubic metres produced in December last year. The output in July was up 7% from July of last year and 5.2% from June this year.
The increase was mostly due to resumption of production at the Canapu well, in the Espírito Santo Basin, according to the ANP.
