São Paulo – Sales of new vehicles totaled 36,816 units in Morocco in March, down 11% from the same period in 2022, according to data from the Association of Vehicle Importers in Morocco (AIVAM) released by local news agency Maghreb Arabe Presse (MAP).
Of the total number of sales, most; 33,757 were light passenger vehicles, and 3,059 were light commercial vehicles for the transport of goods.
The Dacia brand dominated the passenger vehicle segment in Morocco in the period, with 24.5% of the market, followed by Renault, with 15.06%, and Hyundai, with 12.26% of the total.
Renault prevailed on commercial vehicles, with a 20.02% market share, followed by DFSK, 19.58%, and Hyundai, with 14.69% of sales.
