São Paulo – Orange juice exports from Brazil climbed 28.5% in the first nine months of the 2017-2018 crop season – lasting from June 2017 to March 2018 –, with 855,800 tons shipped. The number was made public by the National Citrus Juice Exporters Association (CitrusBR) this Thursday (12), based on data from the Brazilian Ministry of Industry, Foreign Trade and Services.
Revenue came out to USD 1.556 billion, up 30% from the 2016-2017 season. According to CitrusBR, the number includes sales of concentrated, and non-concentrated frozen and fresh juice.
