São Paulo – Palmeiras defeated Egypt’s Al Ahly 2-0 and booked their place in the final of the FIFA Club World Cup. The games are held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, where the green-clad Palmeiras fans occupied the bleachers of the Al Nahyan Stadium to watch the game against the Egyptians. Al Ahly will play off for third place on Saturday (12).
Now Palmeiras will face on Saturday (12) the winner of the second semi-final between United Kingdom’s Chelsea and Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal on. The Palmeiras game will take place at 8:30 pm (GST) in the Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium, while the second semi-final takes place on Wednesday (9) at 8:30 pm (GST).
