Rio de Janeiro – Oil and gas output for Petrobras saw 3 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boed) in August 2019. Production peak reached 3.1 million boed. The state-owned company reported these are record-high figures.
Pre-salt output average also saw a record high in August: an average of 2.2 million boed, with a peak of 2.5 million boed. Boed is a measure used by the oil industry to calculate the sum of oil production (which is measured in barrels) and gas production (measured in cubic meters).
