São Paulo – The Brazilian state-owned oil company Petrobras has announced this Wednesday (12th) that its oil output in October in Brazil was a record. According to Petrobras figures released by Agência Brasil, the company produced 2.126 million barrels of oil per day on average during the month. It was the ninth straight month of increase in output, which was up 0.4% from September.
Petrobras’ average output in Brazil was 2.579 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd), a figure which also comprises natural gas, up 0.6% from September and an all-time high for the company.
Total output in Brazil and abroad averaged at 2.795 million boepd in October.
