São Paulo – The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the state of São Paulo, Brazil was up 1% in October from September, as per season-adjusted Fundação Seade figures. Growth was driven by industry, up 3%, and services, up 0.8%. Agricultural activity was down 0.2%.
Year-on-year in October, the state’s GDP was up 5.2%. in the 12 months through October, it climbed 2.4%. The whole-year GDP growth forecast has been revised from 2.1% to 2.6%.
