São Paulo — The Saudi Export-Import Bank (Saudi EXIM) has launched an export business accelerator that will offer 50 companies specialized programs and services to develop their export capabilities, state news agency SPA reported.
The Export Business Accelerator program began on October 18 and will run through December 17. It offers a comprehensive package including specialized consulting, training and networking, introduces participants to ways of accessing global markets, and prepares them to take advantage of export financing and insurance solutions. According to a report published by SPA on Monday (19), it is the first accelerator of its kind focused on exports.
Saudi EXIM CEO Saad Alkhalb said the accelerator aims to expand the pool of local companies prepared to export.
Saudi EXIM operates under the supervision of the National Development Fund and aims to develop Saudi Arabia’s non-oil exports and boost their global competitiveness. Through financing, guarantees and export credit insurance, it helps fill financing gaps and mitigate risks.
