Schools in Brazil teach Arabic to the pupils
There are a series of schools in Brazil that incorporate the language to the school programme. Amongst these there are the Brazilian Islamic School, in São Paulo, and the Arab Brazilian School, in the city of Foz do Iguaçu. In both schools, pupils start having notions of the language as of a very young age, while still in pre-school. Most of these students are the children of descendents or of Arabs who live in Brazil.
