São Paulo – Brazilian shoe and accessory brand Fellipe Krein developed its collection for the next spring-summer season based on exotic beaches, among them those of Agadir, in Morocco, and Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates. “We travelled much to develop this collection, we practically crossed the seven seas,” said the company stylist, Ivo Viana, regarding the research made by the company’s offices in Brazil for development of the line.
According to Viana, apart from the beach cities like Agadir and Dubai, the collection also has references from the French Riviera, French Polynesia, Hong Kong and Panama. In Morocco, the stylist brought geometric drawings from handicraft and mosaics, represented in the fabrics and geometric designs. In the coastal city of Dubai, Viana sought luxury in the form of stones, gild or even silver, alongside strong colours like orange, yellow and red, for the shoes and handbags.
Also in Morocco, Viana was inspired by safaris and the meeting of the desert with the sea, using tones like khaki and snake prints. From the French Riviera came the colours of the French flag, red, white and blue, as well as several tones of sea blue. From Panamá, for example, Fellipe Krein used the tones of the traditional and charming Panama hats.
Brand Fellipe Krein is specialized in accessories, like handbags, wallets, travel bags and tablet cases, and is going to issue its shoe collection in the next spring-summer season. Viana’s objective is to use the company’s expertise in handbags to offer shoes. Most of the shoes were created based on a combination with accessories.
Fellipe Krein is a brand in the Salamandra Acessórios group, headquartered in the city of São Paulo. The company also produces accessories in the Julia Arnold brand, turned to the young public. The company sells approximately 400,000 items a year. Production of accessories is in China and shoes are made in Brazil. Sales of products are solely on the Brazilian market. The shoes are all made of leather and the handbags out of synthetic material and also leather.
