São Paulo – The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (CCAB) representatives participating in the 51st Damascus International Fair and the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Agriculture should sign a cooperation agreement on Sunday (12). The deal is the beginning of an experience and technology exchange, in the agricultural sector, amongst the two countries. "Brazil has machinery and planting know how for various products", asserts Sami Roumieh, CCAB director, who is in Damascus.
According to Roumieh, Brazil can also learn with Syrian experience, for example, in pea production. On Sunday Sami has a meeting with the Syrian Minister of Agriculture, Adel Safar. The Damascus International Fair, which started on the 3rd of September, ends Sunday (12). The CCAB organized a stand at the fair, where about 15 Brazilian companies are participating.
