Egyptian Exporters Association (Expolink) chairman Khaled El Mikati, who joined the Arab Brazilian Chamber forum, signed a memorandum of understanding with the latter organization.

The membership agreement was signed during the last day of the Brazil-Arab Countries Economic Forum, with the virtual presence of United Nations Global Compact secretary-general in Brazil, Carlo Pereira. The organizations that adhere to the compact commit to follow the ten universal principles in their daily operations.
In the opening panel of the Economic Forum Brazil & Arab Countries, speakers said urgent solutions must be sought in tandem to address the world’s challenges. They noted that a lot of work is due when it comes to Brazilian-Arab trade relations.
The Economic Forum Brazil & Arab Countries will be hosted by the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce from October 19 to 22. It will feature an online exhibition environment for participants to network and do business in.
Several singers and actors from Brazil will be featured in the TV show ‘Embracing Beirut,’ to air on Brazil’s TV Cultura and Lebanon’s LBCI next Sunday as a fundraiser to help the victims of the August blast at the Port of Beirut. The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce is supporting the initiative.
Hosted by the Arab Brazilian Chamber’s Women’s Committee and the Women Inside Trade group, a free online event at 9 am on Wednesday (16) will tackle the experiences of businesswomen who work with Arab markets. Registration is open.
An online event on the topic was hosted on Thursday (23) by Brazil’s Medical and Dental Device Manufacturers Association (Abimo) in partnership with Apex-Brasil and the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce.
