In his first international public appointment at COP27 in Egypt, Brazil’s president-elect stated he would ask to host the COP30, in 2025, in the Amazon states of Pará or Amazonas.

The head of the office of the government of Amazonas in São Paulo, Alfredo Lins, met this Thursday (19) with executives from the Arab Brazilian Chamber office in Dubai and discussed opportunities at the world’s fair.
The announcement was made during a meeting with the Council of Arab Ambassadors in Brazil, on occasion of their visit to Manaus. Governor Wilson Lima also said he’ll attend the Brazil-Arab Countries Economic Forum in April 2020 in São Paulo.
Arab ambassadors to Brazil visited the Federation of Industries of Amazonas and the Manaus Free Trade Zone, where they discussed business opportunities available in their countries.
