Natália Calfat takes over Brazil’s Institute of Arab Culture. In an interview with ANBA, she says she has many goals, including bringing together people who study and promote Arab culture to work together, and expanding the offering of courses and events related to the Arab world.

The Qatari embassy held an event earlier this week in the Brazilian capital to celebrate Qatar’s National Day, during which Ambassador Ahmad Mohammed Alshebani addressed the guests about the country and recent developments in its relationship with Brazil.

Event organized by the Brazilian Association of Defense and Security Materials Industries began on Tuesday (3) in Brasília. The fair includes a booth from the Arab-Brazilian Chamber, Arab-funded exhibitors, and delegations from the region.

The Palestinian Authority’s Religious and Islamic Affairs Minister Mahmoud Al-Habbash also said that Brazil plays an influential role on the international stage. During his visit to the Latin American country, he attended a Muslim conference.

Students from the Administration course at Uemasul visited the headquarters of the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce in São Paulo on Friday (22), where they attended lectures and had the opportunity to ask questions about the Arab countries and their relations with Brazil.

Held by Abimo and featuring professionals from the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce and ApexBrasil, an online event highlighted opportunities in the sector for companies that will attend events in the country in 2025.
