ICAB has launched a new project of short online courses with guest lecturers and professors. The first topic to be addressed is Arab nationalism.
A food festival amid the pandemic will see food delivered to the doorsteps of Brasília residents on June 27 and 28. Hosted by the Institute of Arab-Brazilian Culture (Icab), the event will also feature online attractions.
The action is part of the campaign ‘Federal District Government and Embassies United Against Covid-19,’ created by the Federal District Government’s Office of International Affairs and the Covid-19 Emergency Committee.

Brazilian musician Messer di Carlo has studied Arab percussion for seven years. He has been a teacher for four years and will give a workshop at ICAB in Brasília next Friday.
The event will take place on August 10, with six establishments serving traditional dishes, as well as belly dance performances and a dabke circle.
Akira Yamada gave a statement during a Senate session marking the 111th anniversary of Japanese immigration. Brazil is home to the largest Japanese community outside of Japan.
