Date Crown branded products entered the shelves of Brazil’s largest retailer this week, bringing new prospects to the consumption of dates among Brazilians. The deal was struck through representative Julia de Biase.

The Emirati brand that produces dates stuffed with almonds covered by chocolate already sells to the Brazilian supermarket chain Zaffari. The goal now is to attract chains such as Carrefour and Pão de Açúcar.
Group Majid Al-Futtaim made USD 9.2 billion last year. The company has more than 20 malls and owns the Carrefour brand in the Middle East.
