Saudi Arabia was the second-largest destination of Brazilian chicken meat in March. Other Arab countries among the top buyers in the month were the UAE and Iraq, but their purchases declined.
In January of this year, USD 60.2 million were exported, mainly in beef, chicken, and sugar.
Data released by Brazil’s Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock show that the United Arab Emirates and Egypt were the top Arab clients of Brazil’s agribusiness. Exports to the Middle East and Africa grew.
