On the Brazilian Arab Community Day, ANBA brings an interview with Denise Jafet, chairwoman of the Ladies Deliberative Council of São Paulo’s Hospital Sírio-Libanês. The Arab-women founded healthcare facility has had its establishment, administration and success associated with women’s leadership.

The limited-edition chocolate is for sale at Mission Chocolate’s online store. The brand’s founder, Arcelia Gallardo, launched a camel milk chocolate as part of its project to honor the communities composing Brazil’s ethnicity, starting with the Arabs.

Exhibition ‘Tarikh al-Brasil’ by Brazilian photographer Marcelo Schellini showcases the African Arab community living around mosques in São Paulo. The photos can be seen at the São Paulo Museum of Image and Sound from next Saturday, May 1st.
