So says Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce secretary-general Tamer Mansour. He was featured in an international online event on the halal market hosted this Wednesday (22) by the Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture.
Arab Chamber secretary-general Tamer Mansour said during a webinar on Thursday (28) that direct shipping between Brazil and the Arab countries can boost business, particularly with Morocco.
According to Brazil’s poultry industry association ABPA, halal-certified chicken exports were weaker in the lead-up to the holy month of Islam. Muslim associations federation Fambras also reported a drop in halal protein certificates for several countries.
