Karola Braga participates in Desert X in AIUla, Saudi Arabia, with an installation that evokes the memory and scents of the incense trade route. Festival co-curator Marcello Dantas is from Brazil, too.

The fragrance, possibly used by the most famous queen of Egypt, contains cinnamon, myrrh and pine resin. The balm is on an interactive exhibition in the Federal University of Santa Catarina’s chemistry laboratory in Florianópolis.
The flowers are grown in the Taif province. Rose farms are primarily located in the Sarawat Mountains and yield around 550 million yearly.
