The North African country’s decision also includes the import of day-old quails, adding to previous market openings for Brazilian products.
A study published last week by ApexBrasil assesses the potential of the Moroccan market for Brazilian lobsters and poultry genetics. Brazil’s agricultural attaché to Rabat, Ellen Laurindo, said these are products that aren’t yet exported to the country.

Revenue from hatching eggs and poultry genetic material exports from Brazil was up 26.7% last year. Volume was up 60.9%.
Foreign sales went down in January as a result of a spike in domestic demand, the Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA) said.
Industry representatives are hoping to take advantage of chicken sales to ship more product to markets including the Middle East.
