August 10 to 20 will see Brazilian industry association Abimo and trade promotion agency Apex-Brasil host the first-ever online buyers’ project, featuring Brazilian medical, hospital and rehabilitation product companies and laboratories. Algerian and Saudi importers will participate.
An online event on the topic was hosted on Thursday (23) by Brazil’s Medical and Dental Device Manufacturers Association (Abimo) in partnership with Apex-Brasil and the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce.
The donation will go to children and teenagers undergoing cancer treatment at the Santa Casa de Misericórdia Central Hospital, in the downtown São Paulo neighborhood of Vila Buarque.
So far, 177 items have been made tax exempt in Brazil. Newly added products include zinc, vitamin D, and inputs for the manufacturing of respirators and lung ventilators.
