The mural ‘Windows Open to the World’ has 736 square meters and is in front of the museum in the east side of São Paulo city. Among the eight real characters portrayed are Arab immigrants from Libya, Palestine, and Iraq.
In a partnership with the Arab Brazilian Chamber, the Immigration Museum held an event celebrating the Day of the Arab Community in Brazil on Saturday (26). The program featured a project and a survey presentation and short-film screenings, as well as many tales of immigration.

From November 30 to December 6, the 25th edition of the traditional event is taking place in virtual fashion, featuring workshops, music and dance performances, handicraft and cuisine.
Next Tuesday (30), Ali Jeratli of Syria will teach an online lesson how to cook tabbouleh, while also explaining the meaning of a few words. The class is part of the Immigration Museum program, in partnership with NGO Abraço Cultural.
