Brazil exported USD 19 billion in goods, with imports coming out to USD 14 billion, the Brazilian Ministry of Industry, Foreign Trade and Services said this Monday (1).

The fourth week of August saw exports reach USD 4.027 billion, with imports amounting to USD 3.586 billion.
The period saw USD 5.389 billion worth of goods shipped from Brazil, while imports came out to USD 3.707 billion.
The country shipped USD 8.43 billion worth of goods abroad from January to July and purchased the equivalent of USD 12 billion.
Foreign sales from Brazil were down 2.6%, while purchases were up 11.7%. The resulting trade surplus exceeded USD 1 billion.
Exports reached USD 5.2 billion and imports came out to USD 3.3 billion in the third week of May in Brazil. Month-to-date, there was a USD 5 billion surplus.
